Hours: Part-time, weekends
Pay: $19/hour

The Front Desk Representative is responsible for customer interactions/relationships of the Hot Springs members and the public guests. This position is the primary source of customer service and initial interaction when entering the facility. This position is responsible directing and serving the facility and it’s patrons. Representatives must have attention to detail, good communication skills, the ability to identify potential problems, decision-making skills, and interact in a professional and courteous manner with guests and fellow staff.  This position reports to their lead/supervisor.   

 Tasks include but are not limited to:  

  • Communication: Communicate with the Hospitality Director, Shift Supervisor, Shift Lead and other Front Desk Representatives of: 
    • Potential disturbances 
    • Any complications that may arise 
    • Need for help 
  • Enforce Rules & Regulations: be very familiar with the rules and regulations of the premises. Be able to enforce these rules and regulations comfortably.  
  • Training Structure: Assist in training of new Front Desk Representatives.  
  • Customer Interaction: Greeting each individual as they walk in. Providing customers with resources and knowledge to navigate through facility. Helping answer any questions and concerns.   
  • Responsibility of Uniform: All Front Desk Representatives are responsible for showing up in their given uniforms and wearing appropriate attire.  
  • Money Handling: Collect and handle money in a trustworthy and timely manner. Attention to proper detail when money handling is crucial 
  • Locker Room Walkthrough: Continually grabbing dirty towels and garbage from the floor and benches of locker room. Making sure counters are clean and presentable while also ensuring the no alcohol and glass policy are being followed.  
  • Cleanliness: Ensure the facility is looking up to par with health code standards and standards of the Management Team. This can include picking up garbage, rearranging furniture, and collecting dirty towels.  
  • Awareness: Awareness of the facility. You must be aware of who is in the pools, what is happening in the locker rooms, and constantly keeping an eye and an effort to make our facility the safest it can be.  
  • Right to Refuse: Maintain the right to refuse service to any belligerent or intoxicated guest. Hold people up to the standards of the Hot Springs’ policies and set an example for others.  

Requirements

  • Minimum one year customer service experience
  • Able to lift 50 pounds

All other duties as required by the Hospitality Director. Duties and tasks are subject to change as needed without prior notification.
