Hello, my name is Christine DeHaan and I am the swim instructor at the Bozeman Hot springs. I currently live in Manhattan with my husband and 3 kids; Savannah, Eden and Jackson. I was born and raised in Southern California where I enjoyed swimming year-round from a young age. In high school and college, I played competitive water polo to a high level of success. Later, I returned to my high school to coach the girl’s water polo and swim team. After getting married and moving to Northern California, I taught swim lessons for Harriet Plummer Aquatic School.
After becoming pregnant with Savannah, my Husband and I moved to Montana to grow our family where we’ve been blessed with the ability to stay home and raise our kids in their early years of their lives.
It’s my personal belief that every child should know how to swim, making my goal to have them learn in a safe and fun environment. My favorite part of teaching is when a child starts believing in themselves, overcoming their fears and doubts. I have truly enjoyed teaching at the Hot Springs and look forward to growing the aquatics program there.
