I have been married for  over 20 years and I am a mother of 5 children. Within our family, we live a healthy and active lifestyle and have found that fitness can be fun and enjoyable. I love what I do and I can’t wait to share it with you! I have successfully implemented fitness and nutrition in my life for the last 25 years.

I believe you are capable of so much more than you give yourself credit for, and will help you find that inner strength and help you learn to love yourself and fitness! If you are ready to stop feeling tired and unhealthy, TODAY IS THE DAY TO CHANGE!

During our time together, I will discuss your individual health and fitness goals. What are your personal goals? Lifestyle change? Weight loss? Ideal physique? Building muscle? Cardio endurance? Whatever your goals may be, we can reach them together. I will also complete a professional assessment to pinpoint your strengths and areas that you would like to improve and build on. With this information, I will design a one-of-a-kind program that will include the things you personally need. This may be a workout pro­gram, nutrition guidance, personal training sessions and consultations. It doesn’t matter what your fitness experience has been to this point: I will design a program that fits in your life and will change as you change.

Exercise should be a part of a healthy lifestyle, not your entire life. I love to spend time outdoors running, hiking, skiing and camping. I have found that time in the gym helps me to do the activities I love. Let me show you how health and wellness can become a part of your life, and how to find that balance. With that in mind, my goal is to educate individuals how to incorporate health, exercise, and good nutrition into a lifelong lifestyle.

As the Fitness Coordinator I strive to make sure that all our guests and members receive the tools they need to reach their goals. I know that for some, the gym is a new place and can be overwhelming. Here at the Hot Springs, we aim to make everyone feel comfortable. Our team is here to help you reach your goals. Each of our fitness professionals have specialties and skills to help reach your goals in an encouraging environment.  Everyone has different fitness and health goals and we offer a variety of group training programs, group fitness classes and personal training to help you reach those goals. Throughout my life I have been many places on the fitness spectrum and I bring these life experiences to my personal training along with my educational certifications. I have always been active in competitive sports such as basketball, volleyball, golf, and boxing whether it be playing, coaching or officiating, I also enjoy recreational activities like hiking, snowshoeing, kayaking, and paddle boarding.

My goal as a personal trainer is to help you realize your athletic and exercise potential. I want to help you achieve a balanced lifestyle that encompasses health and wellness by setting realistic goals, relaying the importance of nutrition, and making our experience together enjoyable. By providing guidance, and a specific workout program created just for you, you will safely gain strength, mobility, flexibility, coordination and balance.  Unfortunately, life throws some road blocks in our way of reaching our goals and full potential.
