Outdoor Things To Do

We understand that most people who visit are interested in Yellowstone National Park, but there are a ton of other things to do in the area outside of the park. Bozeman is home to a plethora of hikes, multiple golf courses, more extreme activities, and more!

See the Scenery in a Wide Variety of Hikes

Since Bozeman is basically surrounded by mountains, we’re home to an array of hikes that are suitable for any skill level. Whether you want to hike up to a lake, waterfalls, basins, or even just do a scenic loop trail, Bozeman has everything. Who knows, maybe you’ll even see some wildlife on your hike, but make sure to bring bear spray if you plan on doing a lesser-frequented trail.

Play 9 or 18 Holes of Golf

Bozeman is home to a handful of public golf courses, one of which is right around the corner from the Hot Springs! Cottonwood Hills features 18 unique holes for a complete golfing experience without having to repeat any holes, but you can also book just the front nine or the back nine if you don’t feel like doing the full course.
