Food & Beverage Supervisor

Hours: 32-40/week
Pay: $23/hour + tips

The Food & Beverage Supervisor is responsible for the hour-to-hour supervision of the Cafe. This position is the primary method of communication from the F&B Manager to Shift Leads, and Baristas.  This position is also responsible for handling the majority of Cafe food prep, juicing bags, as well as transporting goods from the campground storage backstock to the cafe backstock while these items can be 50 pounds. The F&B Supervisor must have strong organizational skills, communication skills, and leadership skills. 

The job description: 

  • Supervise and support barista during shifts to ensure smooth, efficient service. 
  • Assist with training as needed, ensuring staff follows procedure. 
  • Ensure all food and beverages meet quality, presentation, and safety standards. 
  • Manage daily operation, ensuring food, and juices are prepped. 
  • Monitor inventory and place orders for items to help with daily operations 
  • Will lift 50 pounds worth of items when transferring back and forth to campground and cafe. Van use will be required when doing these tasks. 
  • Handle customer concerns and resolve complaints in a professional, friendly manner. 
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe, kitchen, and backrooms in accordance with health and safety regulations. 
  • Work closely with the management team to lead employees. 
  • Lead by example with a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to teamwork. 

Requirements

  • High School Diploma Minimum
  • At least 3 years customer service experience
  • At least 3 years barista experience
  • Experience leading a team of employees
  • Able to lift 50 lbs

Food & Beverage Shift Lead

Hours: 32-40/week
Pay: $21/hour + tips

Summary: 

The F&B Shift Leads are responsible for the daily operation inside the cafe. This position is the primary for assigning stations as well as seeing through opening and closing procedures and making sure baristas remain on task. This position is also responsible for basic money handling, ensuring tills are opened, closed, and counted properly, before and after the service day. The F&B Shift Leads must have strong organizational skills, customer service skills, and leadership skills. 

The job description: 

  • Support and motivate the barista during shifts to maintain standards of service. 
  • Oversee shift operations, including coordinating breaks and task/station delegation. 
  • Assist with training new staff and reinforcing café procedures. 
  • Open and/or close the café according to checklists and operational standards. 
  • Handle basic cash handling, drawer counts, and POS troubleshooting. 
  • Step in to address and resolve guest issues or questions when needed. 
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the cafe and storage rooms. 
  • Communicate with supervisors through EOS about shift highlights and lows. 
  • Assist F&B Supervisor with prep when delegated or needed. 
  • Will lift 50 pounds worth of items when transferring back and forth to campground and cafe. Van use will be required when doing these tasks.

Barista

Hours: 20-32/week
Pay: $18/hour + tips

Baristas are the heart of the café experience. Their role is to craft high-quality beverages and food, while maintaining a clean and welcoming environment, and providing friendly, consistent service to every guest and member. 

The job description: 

  • Greet every guest with a warm, friendly attitude, and quick service.
  • Take orders accurately and operate the POS system with confidence. 
  • Prepare coffee, espresso drinks, teas, and specialty beverages to recipe standards along with food and bakery items. 
  • Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout your shift.  
  • Rotate between café positions as needed. 
  • Follow health, safety, and sanitation guidelines at all times. 
  • Restock cups, milk, syrups, and dry goods during and after service. 
  • Communicate clearly and respectfully with teammates and leadership. 
  • Help maintain a tidy café environment. 
  • Assist with opening and/or closing procedures as assigned. 
  • Will lift 50 pounds worth of items when transferring back and forth to campground and cafe. Van use will be required when doing these tasks.
